The Washington State High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA) is a synergy between law enforcement and private industry. Our primary focus is on leveraging our collective experiences for the betterment of our community and society as a whole. Law enforcement, academia, and the private sector in Washington State are working together to educate and help combat computer-related crime.

The High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA) is designed to encourage, promote, aid and effect the voluntary exchange of data, information, experience, ideas, and knowledge, about methods, processes, and techniques relating to investigation and security in advanced technologies among its membership.

With the explosion in the use of computers and the Internet, there is an uprising in criminal activities that utilize these powerful tools.
